Check out the Belmont Website Daily Announcements and the Career Centre Information for the many volunteer opportunities available to students.  Volunteer hours can be used for the required grad transitions hours.
    • ******GRADS: An email was sent home with information regarding Grad ceremonies and forms that need to be filled out and returned to the front office. Please bring these completed forms to the office with payment as soon as possible.
    • GRADS: Baby/Toddler photos are now being accepted in the office. For the slide show at the graduation ceremonies, bring them in soon.
      GRADS: Today at lunch Grad Gowns will be on display at the Lakeside Café across from the Learning Commons. Please pop by and verify the size you will need to order.
  • Work Experience 12A students.   Grade 11 and 12 students who are taking Work Experience 12A please hand in your assignments for this course by Friday, March 17th.  If you cannot meet this deadline please see Mrs. Nicholson in the Career Centre.
  • Interested in creating art with other like-minded individuals? Drop in to A136 at lunch every Thursday! Supplies are included! Everyone Welcome!

  • Senior boys rugby game is cancelled today. Be sure to get to practice.

Career Centre

  • Summer Secondary School Apprenticeship Jobs at Dockyard For more information, the application package and job descriptions see the Career Centre.  Application deadline is Monday, April 3, 2017.
  • Dockyard (Fleet Maintenance Facility, Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt) in Victoria is offering summer positions for Secondary School Apprenticeships again this year. The jobs offered are in the following trades: various metal trades, various hull trades, electricians, machinists, millwrights and pipefitters.
  • Coast Capital Savings Youth Intern Program is currently accepting applications for the Youth Get It Intern program.  Students must be entering Grade 11 or Grade 12 in September 2017 and be able to work full-time during the summer months, and every Saturday during the school year. The successful applicants will work in a branch as a Member Service Representative, representing Coast Capital Savings at community events and initiate a volunteer project focusing on teaching financial literacy for youth.  Students who are interested in this opportunity are to apply on line at coastcapitalsavings.com/youthinterns.  The application deadline is Friday, March 31, 2017 at 4:00pm.   Please contact the Career Centre for more information.
  • Students who are interested in applying for the summer position with Coast Capital Savings Youth Get It Intern program will be able to listen to a presentation and Q & A from three Coast Capital representatives TODAY March 16th.  Please come to the Career Centre for more details regarding the time and place.
  • Have lots of fun with this volunteer opportunity! Sign up for The Easter Egg Hunt. Need 25 volunteers, this year will be at the Military Resource Centre, 2010 Rosebank Rd. in Colwood on Saturday, April 15th from 11.30 AM to 2.30 PM
