Grade 12 parents & students, welcome to the final year of High School!

This area of our website is your “one stop shopping” for all the information and resources one needs to navigate through this final year. The table below outlines resources placed in chronological order as they typically happen. Please work through this area together with your child to have the most successful year possible:

September /October

Student Transcript Service

(STS) is an online app for students to view their school marks, provincial scholarships, transcripts, and send transcripts electronically.   To register for STS, you will need:  your Personal Education Number (PEN), full legal name, date of birth, and email address.

Go to the Ministry of Education’s ‘Order Transcripts and Certificates’ website.  Select “Current Student”, select “Order”.  Then create a BCeID account.   Be sure to make note of your user name and password.  Once you’ve created a BCeID account, log in to the Student Transcripts Service using your BCeID.

From your STS dashboard,  you can:
– view your transcript
– arrange to have transcripts sent electronically to post-secondary schools (Marks are released to post-secondary schools of your choosing at the beginning of May and end of July)
– view provincial assessment results
– order transcripts for yourself
– send transcripts immediately to a college, university, etc.
– view your provincial scholarship information

  • Double check on Grad Eligibility after semester one

March/April
  • Admin and counsellors review eligibility for Grad  status. Gr. 12 students must be in the position to graduate in order to participate in the Grad ceremony.  
  • Purchase Grad Cap & Gown order, Ceremony Comment and Graduation fee due TBD.
  • Pay online through School Cash Online or in office.  
  • TBD – Valedictorian Nomination Week (20 signatures required).
    
     
     
May/June  

  • May TBD – Valedictorian Candidate presentations.
  • May TBD – Vote for Valedictorian 
  • May TBD – Valedictorian announced.
  • May 16- “O’Canada” & Original Grad Song auditions in CRM room. A copy of the lyrics MUST be presented before the audition.
  • May 29 – Commencement Grad Rehearsal
  • May 31 – Grad Status Confirmation – Gr. 12 students must be in the position to graduate in order to participate in the Grad ceremony.  All fees will be refunded if a student is not in a position to graduate.
  • TBD – Cap, Gown distribution in the gym at lunch.
  • – Dry Grad at Belmont, time is TBD
  • June 9, 2024 – Commencement Ceremonies 11am & 3pm at UVIC Farquhar Theatre
